Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset my password?

Open the app and tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen. Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. The link expires after 1 hour. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

You can also email support@myind.ai and we'll send a manual reset link.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone / iPad: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Kaabil → Cancel Subscription. Or open App Store Subscriptions directly.

Android: Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kaabil → Cancel. Or open Play Store Subscriptions directly.

Subscriptions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. See our subscription management page for more details.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the app: go to Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, visit our account deletion page to request deletion via the web.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data — resumes, cover letters, application history, and profile — will be permanently removed within 30 days.

My PDF isn't generating — what do I do?

PDF generation requires a stable internet connection. Try these steps:

1. Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
2. Force-close the app and reopen it.
3. Try generating the PDF again.
4. If the issue persists, check that your resume content doesn't contain unsupported special characters.

If none of these work, email us at support@myind.ai with your device model and iOS/Android version, and we'll investigate.

How do I use Free AI Mode?

Free AI Mode is available for Pro and Lifetime users. Connect your own AI key and use AI features at no token cost:

1. Get a free API key from Google AI Studio (Google gives $300 in free credits).
2. In Kaabil, go to Settings → Connect Your AI → Enter your API key.
3. Your key is stored on your device only — never sent to our servers.

With Free AI Mode, all AI features (tailoring, cover letters, interview prep) use your own key. No tokens are deducted.

I purchased tokens but they didn't appear

Token purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. In most cases, tokens appear within a few seconds. If they don't:

1. Close and reopen the app — this triggers a purchase sync.
2. Go to Settings → Restore Purchases.
3. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account used for the purchase.

If tokens still haven't appeared after 15 minutes, email support@myind.ai with your purchase receipt (screenshot from your email) and we'll credit your account manually.

Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple or Google, not by Kaabil directly. Request a refund from Apple or Google Play.
